New Albany Touch-a-Truck

The City of New Albany will be hosting a Touch-a-Truck event at the Public Service complex on Saturday, August 20. The day will begin with a special sensory-friendly hour from 9-10 a.m., followed by hours for the general public from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This rain-or-shine event gives kids the chance to get an up-close look at City vehicles and to talk with police officers, firefighters and public service crews. We are also teaming up with the Healthy New Albany Food Pantry to host a breakfast-themed food drive at the event. They are kindly requesting that attendees bring cereal, instant oatmeal, canister oatmeal, quick bread mix or applesauce.
